Webinar | Path of Perseverance: Journeys from Afghanistan

Join Freshta Ibrahimi, leader of The Unstoppable Project, and Brad Bandy, co-founder and executive director of community development at The Spero Project, on a thought-provoking webinar on incredible women of Afghanistan who are moving mountains in their lives and the world.

Freshta began her mountaineering journey in Afghanistan, where she managed the first group of Afghan women mountaineers for four years. She has climbed across various regions in Afghanistan and recently expanded her achievements by summiting 6,000-meter peaks in Nepal, hiking to Everest Base Camp, and training in the Alps.

Brad is the Co-Founder of The Spero Project, a U.S.-based NGO that helps resettled refugees build a sense of belonging by connecting them with people, resources, and learning opportunities. With over 25,000 hours of cross-cultural dialogue, he has developed deep relationships with resettled refugees, learning the value of faith, family, and community. Brad’s humanitarian work spans Southeast Asia, Central America, the Balkans, and East Africa, where he gained insights into the challenges of displacement and resettlement.
